gay marriage, et al

Recently I read an article in the SF Chronicle by a Black woman from Berkeley who is married to a White man argue about the "positive" side of gay marriage. Lady, you're full of shit. Just because you have hang-ups and problems with your own marriage decision, don't consider yourself an expert on marriage or race relations. Maybe you should have listened to your family. The only thing your marriage and a gay marriage have in common is it may someday cost you your lives because not everyone agrees with both cross-color and homosexual relationships. Marriage between members of different ethnic groups is far more prevalent and far more accepted than even the idea of gay marriage.

Watching the KTVU news these past few days some of the images of gay marriages taking place are very indicative of what makes non-gays often hostile towards gays. I can deal with (not accept) the gay part, but when you have these guys acting in grossly exaggerated, what they consider feminine mannerisms, or these women that try to look exactly like the creature that is often their focus of hate and driving force behind their sexual preference, man, it gets sickening. This behavior is for some an argument for assault and battery. I just saw a newly wed lesbian couple on the news who were stereotypical to say the least : the "bride" was indistinguishable from any of the thousands of lesbians that haunt the Mission, while the "groom" was the patriarch of The Family Guy, Peter Griffin, come to life. Really. If I were a female that wanted to be a guy, it wouldn't be a goofy looking cartoon character guy.

Please gay people, you've fucked up enough shit by making it yours. Like GI Joe. Don't deny it motherfuckers-the Castro Clone look of the 70s was based on the doll American boys loved to play with and you just couldn't resist trying to look like GI Joe with life-like hair. And shame on you sick fucks that had the window display on 17th street just past Hartford st. that had GI Joe knock-offs blowing each other and punking each other in the ass. Your store is fortunate it wasn't vandalized. Sure you guys probably thought it was cute BUT some people in the city are a little more along the lines of "normal" and have young children that pass through the area and don't need indoctrination into sodomy through your clever toy posing fetish. And when one of you gets the pate' beat of him (a la Eddy Araujo) you throw a hissy and ask, "why"?

We know. We've heard it before, "My lifestyle doesn't have to pay for kids, so my lover and I can live a higher quality of life". Bully for you but you don't have to try and lure kids into your lifestyle. If your lifestyle is so "normal" why do you have to try to lure people into it that aren't into it? The answer is, you're not as normal as you think. Your lifestyle is officially only 35 years removed from the official list of mental problems. And the ones that are one sex trapped in the body of the other sex, that's a fuckin' mental problem. Multiple personality problems at the very least. Here's another example of the gay multiple personality syndrome: my mom's sister is gay. For years she was the Butchiest of Butchs. Then one day she meets Pat, who isn't Butch at all. Within days my aunt is wearing dresses, which she hadn't done in at least 30 years, and carrying a purse, which she'd never done in her life. My aunt isn't the only gay person I've seen do this. I've known gay males that were fem one day, then they meet someone and they're so Butch they need a spiked collar.

The persecution will never end. Go ahead. Convince yourself who you are and what you do are normal. But normal people don't have to worry about being normal do they?

I know, it's a simple matter of equality. But this is not an equal society. If you become a gay separatist nation somewhere, you might be able to do it. But here in America we have a little bump in the road when it comes to equality, especially for gays. That would be the evangelicals. Kinda hard to convince people that your desire to live free and gay trumps God, who incidentally, happens to be what you might consider to be homophobic.
